Hosted by RE:BYLT, this annual free festival recognizes and celebrates families throughout New Orleans as young people prepare to return to school. Family Day in the Park has donated thousands of backpacks filled with school supplies to thousands of students across New Orleans and neighboring regions. Additionally, the festival has provided free health screenings, access to resources, entertainment, and a positive celebration for the community.

FOOD TRUCKS
VENDOR OPPORTUNITIES
Family-centered vendors are invited to rent a vendor space during this event. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost for vendor space rental is $150.
Vendor spaces come with one 6-foot table and two chairs. Vendors may also bring portable canopies or tents, as they will not be provided by RE:BYLT. Vendors are also responsible for providing their own tablecloth and table materials.
Vendor fees must be received no later than July 14, 2023.

RE:BYLT is dedicated to providing families with meaningful tools and resources for success. For years, RE:BYLT has provided opportunities and hopes to the youth within New Orleans. The mission is to serve as the neighborhood’s premier institution for transforming young people through educational support, mentorship, and development. The vision is to equip youth today with the tools to serve the future tomorrow.
WHAT ARE WE HERE TO DO?
Since 2017, Family Day in the Park has been working to provide an innovative and entertaining space to celebrate young people and families. Our goal is to stimulate community participation and engagement while supporting the work of the community and local leadership. We believe that our children need guidance, support, and love. Through Family Day in the Park, our goal is to provide that.

SERVICE PROVIDERS
We are seeking groups or individuals to provide services including, but not limited to: Health Screenings, Haircuts, BRAIDS, Chair Massages
SCHOOL SUPPLY DONATION
Our goal is to provide every student attending the festival a backpack filled with supplies for the school year. To make this happen, we are accepting $ 20 gift cards to give away to each family. Additionally, we are requesting notebooks, paper, calculators, index cards, erasers, highlighters, glue sticks, folders, and binders.
VOLUNTEER SUPPORT
We are seeking general event support with portions of the festival like setup, breakdown, activity monitoring and raffles.
